Night action to welcome a new frog

What's better than a well-tested operation to welcome a new frog?
Welcome @Zighedeh1! :)
Operation completed for the checkpoint of 01:00 AM, 22.06 Km (14.07 mi) top-bottom distance, total of ~270 kMU.

We kept it low for that checkpoint, only 6 layers, because we felt that some Resistance agents who were active at that time would notice something and prevent us from completing the operation.
After the checkpoint, we added a number of even larger fields:
3 more layers added, this time with a 31.47 Km (19.46 mi) top-bottom distance, ~175 more kMU stacked and counted at the checkpoint of 6 AM.
As of the checkpoint of 11:00 AM, everything is still up!

My contribution was upgrading some portals in the bottom anchors group and cleaning blocking links; AP-wise, I decided not to just destroy blocking links but rather go for a complete eradication of any trace of blue, here is the blocking town (right under the bottom anchors) after my passage:

Hugging Cecina, again

01:39 AM
First hug.
11:43 AM
Resistance intervention at the bottom anchor.
05:17 PM
Second hug.
Cecina hugged twice in 24 hours, >13 kMU each time.
And, yes, it's something I've already done a number of times, I like hugging my birth city from time to time.
Yesterday was also the opportunity to take a picture of the beautiful pinewood walk at the bottom anchor for the #IngressActualGameplayFootage Google+ hashtag:

Working on Illuminator medal

So, yes, I know it's the jillionth time we have done this, anyway this is different: so far, I've only been the cleaner and capturer of anchor portals in Rosignano Marittimo, but this time we agreed I'd be the one to actually close fields at those anchors, thus allowing me to stack up points for the Illuminator medal which has been idling in its early Platinum status for a while now.

The top link was still up from the previous episodes of this operation: thanks to +David Jones aka @ToscJones who provided the keys for the left and right anchors, we decided we could go for the checkpoint of 9 PM.

On his way back home from work, at about 05:30 PM, @ToscJones headed to Rosignano Marittimo for some partial cleaning in order to pave the way for me to complete the cleaning faster in the imminence of the checkpoint and have time to capture & fill portals and link them.
As we saw no dangerous activity from the smurfs in Rosignano Marittimo, I had time for dinner, then I headed to the beginning of the anchors array and parked.

After waiting for at least 08:30 PM, I started attacking, capturing and fielding; I do know that starting half an hour before the checkpoint is very early, but, again, if I wanted to increase sensibily my Illuminator statistics I had to deal with all those nine anchors alone in a town where some streets are narrow and steeply uphill/downhill, with the risk of traffic slowing me down.

Fielding series completed at 08:53 PM, everything went pretty smoothly, so while keeping an eye on COMM notifications in Ingress I had time to take some landscape pictures of Rosignano Marittimo for the #IngressActualGameplayFootage and #PlacesIngressHasTakenMe Google+ hashtags:

3... 2... 1... DING! 09:00 PM, checkpoint reached, ~300 kMU added to the cell score and to my Illuminator statistics which went over 2,100,000.
After thanking @ToscJones for his collaboration also as operator, I went to spend the rest of the night with some friends of mine, when I even met +Luca Magni aka @Oba87 and +Chiara Castoldi aka @Ghiacciolina in front of an espresso coffee.
At 11:30 PM I was getting in my car to go back home when I thought I'd check whether that fields system would be still up... and it was.
I was in Marina di Cecina, took a look at the Intel situation there and spotted the opportunity to add some more kMU.
So, why not...
After cleaning 3 blue portals with blocking link, I attached 3 more fields to the previous multilayer triangle...

...which made Rosignano Marittimo even greener:
It yielded an additional ~35 kMU.
Operation finally completed at 00:11 AM, and the overall picture is on the top left of this article; top-bottom distance: 32Km (19.8mi).
Now at 09:30 AM it's all still up, which means that checkpoints at 02:00 AM and 07:00 AM has been covered too.

The labronic triangle

What's so special about this operation?
The fact that, with only minor changes in the anchors, we manage to do it over and over again (1, 2, 3) without the Resistance to learn and hinder us efficiently.
This is what we did yesterday night for the checkpoint of 09:00 PM CET:
About 300 kMU.
Two hours late, a smurf attacked the left anchors, but we expected it thus we were ready to rebuild it up for the checkpoint of 02:00 AM.
Septicycle won!
As of now, it's all still up, therefore it also covered checkpoints of 07:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Way to go!

Reference: the term "labronic" originated from a letter of Cicero where he invented this term to name the area of the province of Livorno.
